If I may be blunt: who cares? If you're only doing it for the popularity, then don't do it. But if you genuinely care about it, then by all means, go for it!

No I genuinely care about it and I have fun making YouTube videos, that's the main point essentially but I don't want to do this for 3 months straight and still be uploading to roughly 10 people lol

Then do it for 3 months and quit if you haven't grown? I think 3 months is a fairly unrealistic timeline to gain traction on any media platform, but if that's your worry, just do it and if you don't see results, don't do it anymore. Although I think if you really enjoy making that type of content, you should keep making it as long as you enjoy it.

I mean if it is extremely good quality or if it is different from what every other channel is offering
Right now the market is very saturated. If you wanna do it for fun, go ahead, who gives a shit.

don't know who downvoted you, the market is very saturated and it's really hard to get in
if you could find a gimmick / series to cling onto that no one has done before, that may be a good idea

I guess someone just thought I was intentionally being mean. For clearance, I wasn't. I just said what I felt was true. Like I said, if you want to do it for money, it's tough, like most content creation. But if you wanna do for fun, go ahead. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket.

i mean u could become like commend if everything goes well, but its likely you wont blow up with like hundreds of thousands of subs cuz vct is pretty small

you will never know if you never do it. Just try a different approach rather than full on analytical or breakdown stuff because there's already plenty of that and with all due respect to you i find it difficult that you can do it better than people like Sliggy or Platoon, so just do your own thing and theres always a chance

Agreed, already successful channels (sliggt, tmv, teets) are gonna be hard to compete against so you will need to make your own niche
