i genuinely dont get it, hes never been the best or even close to the best player on his team yet people act like hes a lock for top 10??? like i will respect him cuz hes consistent and has 2 masters but he was lowkey the worst player on fnc in 2023

chronicle was definitely impactful but I think aspas has a better goat case than chronicle. chronicle has never been the best player on his team and arguably never even top 5 itw besides maybe 2021. and even in kickoff he wasn't that impressive. his whole fnatic stint is kind of overrated to me but he has the most trophies so he gets glazed for that. no shade to him, he's good but I don't see him as the goat.

with all the new talent in all the regions, of course derke being a lock for top 10 is not guaranteed but I feel like he's shown up for FNC when it mattered, particularly last year but arguably in 2023 too although leo and alfa were insane back then
but for trexx, think that he at least deserves a mention for top 10 itw, he's been really good even going back to when he was guild
even on KOI in 2023 he was still really good imho

Derke was with FNC for 4 years. And they peaked in 2023 only. They had a solid 2021, mid run in 2022 and another decent run in 2024. So FNC definitely can do better even if Derke was'nt there. Remember they did'nt make it to Madrid when Derke was there.

He was definitely top 5 in 2023 because his whole team was. The only people in 2023 who were close to him was his own team and demon1 and aspas. Not being the best on your own team is a argument but it’s hard to be the best when your team is just that stacked
