Are there VCT CN fans who...

... aren't Chinese people? I can understand foreigners being EDG fans, but being a foreign TE or XLG fan should be quite rare. I regularly see a bunch of VCT CN fans with foreign flags, but a number of them are actually Chinese.

I got into hard following the CN region after EDG did their run in masters tokyo and have been a huge fan for- EDG, Tyloo (kill me) Wherever yosemite goes and AG cause they got monk lol- obviously not from my pfp flag but im from asia

I've been following Chinese Valorant for years now, so much more enjoyable then some other regions ( americas ), more of a fun watch, especially better now seeing teams like XLG and NOVA starting to cook and have some amazing ideas and strats, ( we don't talk about wolves )

Also: England/Australia

I'm Indonesian, EDG fan since EDG vs Northeption 2022 East Asia LCQ 2 hours after prev team Crazy Raccoon got eliminated.
Before VCT partnership only mainly watch VCJ since First Strike Japan 2020.

I got into it really towards the end of 2023, because that was right around when I was getting really into comp valorant but it was the offseason so China was the only region that had stuff going. Picked Trace as my team (a little bit at random) and that was that.

Chinese valorant is just so much fun

Am Russian i like drg and recently xlg , I first started watching cn in 2022 edg mainly after in 2023 and 24 I attended live matches was insane

I am Bangladeshi and I like VCT CN the most. Actually, I only watch APAC and CN because of my time zone. Tbh I don't know, I think I like Cn bcuz the Chinese commentary along with their chaotic gameplay kinda holds my attention throughout the game. Also, I feel like you can relate your goofy gameplay to these Chinese teams. Ok, you know what I got the answer. Entertainment Factor.

Sad reality is that there is no english casting... its really hard for there to be many fans that watch actively and engage with the teams.

been following EDG and the KONE guys since East Asia LCQ 2022, since then I’ve been watching FGC and CN Valorant.

to me what gets me hooked with CN is that they are so good mechanically. Just from watching enough games, you’ll typically find a rising star amidst the slop.
