Is Marvel Rivals the Valorant killer?

There are many Val streamers and players playing Marvel Rivals now

It makes sense because Val is basically a hero shooter, so there is carryover to Marvel Rivals.

In the beginning of Val, it was more similar to CSGO, so CS players could transition to Val

Now Val players will go to MR for a better hero shooter or to CS for a better tactical shooter.

not really, rivals is popular now for its marvel affiliation but itll die in a few years. Adding to this the requirement for high specs pcs will most def hurt the games progress and prevent a larger playerbase from accessing it. Recency bias aside, riot ran lol which is over a decade old and its sufficient to say that itll be the same for val
