out of the 10 majors we've had deep runs 50% of the time (I count top 4 as a deep run)

all we're missing is a trophy (duh)

if luck were on our side in all of those deep runs we would have 5 trophies

but its okay we're getting 3 this year (cope)

sure I'm a die hard fan and was also gassing them up thinking it was theirs to win

but deep down after watching that bind vs talon in the regional playoffs I was super worried

that tourney was honestly a worse showing than champs this year but its all good

how bad was it? i feel like their problems only got exposed when they picked g2 as their opponent, if they picked FUT instead who were realistically the worst team to come out of the swiss stage, their problems would be masked and they’d make a deep run at shanghai at least

Optic's prime form was FOR SURE NOT in istanbul, that was when yay's prime form was

Optic peaked at reykjavic as a team, and that was when Marved and Crashies and Victor were all pulling insane amounts of weight and all allowing yay to be a demon, but they were all being good in their own ways

At champs Optic was just yay, fns calling, and friends, where it felt like the team was never there to clutch out moments when yay didnt get 2 at the start of the round by being yay

These placements show that PRX are a really good team even if you consider that they lost two good chances at a trophy currently there's no team in the world with that consistent runs deep , people give them shit for not winning a trophy but overall they are definitely like a top 5 team in the world over all

yeah, my point is more of some players/team just not good on those maps specifically cause u have to play the map in a specific way. As a recon initiator player, playing on Split/Fracture is not fun and most of my losses comes from those 2 maps.
