Can understand Dota 2, CS2 but R6 is above Valorant and LOL
No wonder Rito is startup company

Is it true that Riot capped tournament winnings for their international events?
I mean I think val is probably one of the most profitable esports now that gambling is allowed so it should be fine, prize money is more of a showing off thing imo since most of the teams don't really see a good amount of the pot, plus val is actually doing pretty well in viewership iirc
4ch1p4p4 [#2]Yet both Valorant and LoL are more popular than the other games you mentioned...
Bruh, idk about R6 but Dota 2 and CS2 have strong support, business and fan system.
Atleast they aren't randomly banning or warn players outside their own actual game.
I think Valo in the search of being relevant to newer audience might lose older audience for being toxic in the games.
It's okay to be toxic sometimes in the game but banning them nah.... They're uprooting themselves and becoming soft.
saebr [#4]is dota 2 that popular? havent heard that much about it tbh
one of the world championships gave out 18 million usd for first place

Lol, it's just a game it's not going to matter in anyone's life except for pros.
Though they can keep a ceiling of 10-20 curses for each player if anyone is just being toxic for being sake of it then obviously that person will be getting banned by the reports either way
Taruuu1 [#15]dota came out first lol
idk much about dota but from an artistic standpoint hok looks a LOT like league
StalwartTiger_35 [#16]idk much about dota but from an artistic standpoint hok looks a LOT like league
thats all moba games
StalwartTiger_35 [#16]idk much about dota but from an artistic standpoint hok looks a LOT like league
he thought you were saying dota was the LoL knock off
saebr [#4]is dota 2 that popular? havent heard that much about it tbh
it kinda fell off and the current tournaments dont pay out as much but old tournaments used to have 70 million dollar price pools
StalwartTiger_35 [#16]idk much about dota but from an artistic standpoint hok looks a LOT like league
they both originate from the same mod to starcraft called defense of the ancients. dota kept the original shit whereas league reinvented with diff champs or smthing like that. watch a yt vid on it.
i think riot caps their tournament prizes but gives a lot of their bundle money to the teams so eventually it adds up but you cant really compare it to CS or dota cause they get gambling sponsors and gambling sponsors usually pay an insane amount of money cause they know theyll make it back immediatly from all the idiots betting on the games
saebr [#4]is dota 2 that popular? havent heard that much about it tbh
how come you're chinese and never heard of dota2 bruh
Taruuu1 [#7]one of the world championships gave out 18 million usd for first place
that was some peak dota shit back then
sadly both the game and the esports fell off into the abyss now
UvuvwevwevweOnyetenyevwe [#27]Cs - 712 events 22.67m$
Hok - 50 events 20.61m$
cs dont got that ccp money sadly 😞
Akukko [#11]WTF even is Honor of Kings????
Most popular game in china and 2nd most popular eSports. Basically a moba Mobile game.

valo is newer than all of them so I would wait a few years, and LOL is the biggest esports itw
