They’ve consistently proved they are good yet everyone seems to hate them I’m keznit has a strong personality but he’s undeniably one of americas best duelists
gambusia1302 [#2]Because they keep stealing the last champions spot from their favourite team
100 pigs shouldn’t have lost to khalil life game, skill issue on their part
alienista1 [#4]Good question. It's strange how Keznit is constantly underrated in the list of best duelists. Mada, Jawgemo and Oxy are nowhere near Keznit's level (if we compare last year), but they are constantly placed above it in tierlists.
mada hasn’t even played a single tier 1 game
oxy was super good in stage 1, like he had the highest ACS and 2nd highest rating out of everyone so he gets a pass, people know how good he is
jawgemo is nice as always but he slumped a lot compared to keznit.
i agree with what you’re saying
Because it always feels like Kru lacks something. They are always regular but never great. Always fights for playoffs, but never go to finals; Always go to champions, but haven't gone past the group stage since 2021. Never the best team of the league at any point, never an exciting run on a S-tier tournament. Just straight up an "okay" team by all metrics

this, I dont think overrated but are definitely underrated as theyre not the worst, definition of an average tier 1 team, middle of the pack, can be good enough when they need to be but have been seen to play down to lower competition before as well.
Alot of it likely stems from the 2023 0-9 in reg season and having a cinderella run thru LCQ, 2024 they improved on that though. Plus for me personally they stay mid because they recycle the same talent between them and LEV historically.

spitting straight facts, we were very good on 2024 stage 1 tho. 5-0.

you nailed it
kru stop bombing out of group stages and make an actual deep run, it was exciting to watch you clash with gambit in an extremely close game, you can definitely make a miracle run again

bruh that 0-9 season was so non-sense, they were struggling some games and then almost winning against fucking loud.

the thing about recycling talent is that kru doesn't really have anywhere to go. latam is not a great region overall and importing from brazil is bad because of language barrier, but they also don't want to import from NA because the fans would rightfully be pissed. they could pick up new talent and bootcamp the fuck out of them but thats too much of a bet, so i understand just going with the same names and slowly trying to find greatness while having a overall regular season

the existing great talent are also not old enough to play VCT

I agree with what ur saying but jaw and oxy are incredible. I would put keznit slightly under those two

while i do think kru looked really good overall, their opponents also looked like shit, so it was not a big test for them (which came later on playoffs)

There is a lot of talent rn in latam, this region woke and grew a lot in the last few years, but they're all underage, so big F, 2025-26 will be better if they prove themself and not become frauds, also i would say im 100% sure next lev roster its going to be all cracked latam rookies.

they would’ve made shanghai if they didn’t throw a 4v1 vs aspas

wdym, they were all good teams.
xKali1 [#14]bruh that 0-9 season was so non-sense, they were struggling some games and then almost winning against fucking loud.
kru 0-9 was funny because they were not the worst team of the league. in fact they deserved some wins and didn't deserve last place but the team was clearly so mentally drained and unlucky that they just didnt win until regular season was over and they reset to the LCQ

About that, from what I heard from an interview of KRU sports manager, they are betting on an experienced roster for this year aiming for immediate success and a good run at champions while also establishing an Academy team to participate in VCL.
He said if things go wrong, they are bombing out the roster to give the academy kids a chance. They are probably keeping Shyy and 1 more from the current roster and the additions could be Dantedeus, Mta and another kid.
xKali1 [#22]wdym, they were all good teams.
MIBR and FURIA were free wins for the league, EG had a slow start but i’d count it as they upset SEN and NRG, LOUD was a convincing win for many people, 100T went on to be on stage 1 champions

well mibr was struggling and furia was just weak so i'll guess its ok to call them weaker.
xKali1 [#22]wdym, they were all good teams.
nah, most of the second group on split 1 was really bad
100t win was great tho, i forgot they won that

yeah theres that too. lev and kru academy (i heard they were building one but im not sure) seem both very promising, so hopefully we see a new wave of fresh latam talent for the upcoming years
foythvlr [#29]yeah theres that too. lev and kru academy (i heard they were building one but im not sure) seem both very promising, so hopefully we see a new wave of fresh latam talent for the upcoming years
they are:
KRU Academy:
LEV Academy
both academys are complete and scriming rn.
When KRU first came to the scene, they were pretty good and decent. Its just that at the first international tournament, them along with the other LATAM teams got wiped by the NA and EU. They then started doing decently well and only lost to the teams that would either go on to win the tournament OR finalists/deep elim runners. They qualled for most internationals but have never made like a deep elim run. KRU's been solid with moments of brilliance and I think people underrate them a lot just because we havent seen them get hardware or make consistent improvements.
IMO KRU is like one of those teams in the middle of the pack that can certainly be one of the best, we just have yet to see them perform
xKali1 [#30]they are:

kru acad
mta

ghoul
blowzin (tho idk if they ended up with blow or mikey)
xKali1 [#14]bruh that 0-9 season was so non-sense, they were struggling some games and then almost winning against fucking loud.
Oh I agree, KRU was never the worst despite their record, it was just unlucky. But for casuals it could lead to them being underrated

yeah but until the academy teams/younger talent are vct age they're kinda stuck with what they got yeah
alienista1 [#4]Good question. It's strange how Keznit is constantly underrated in the list of best duelists. Mada, Jawgemo and Oxy are nowhere near Keznit's level (if we compare last year), but they are constantly placed above it in tierlists.
Oxy has more potential as a pure fragger than Keznit while Jawgemo is practically unmatched as an entry with far greater peaks but slightly more inconsistent.
People repping Mada are riding the high from his T2 stats and those matches against a brand new SEN roster — he’s practically NA Primmie in terms of hype.
PlasmatheGoat [#19]I think ranking KRU anything below 6th place is trolling
A bit of a toss up between 5th-8th?
Also, don’t read into NRG’s loss too much. FNS always loses the first group match.

Maybe something like:
Dante | mta | Mazino | Cebando | Shyy
