My guess is that Rossy was a micromanaging kind of IGL who had an exact plan that he wanted the players to follow and knew exactly what he wanted them to do, meanwhile the players last season were used to a more loose kind of calling where they were free to make their own decisions, so they clashed and decided they wanted Rossy gone. Which is perhaps the most retarded decision they could've made considering how mediocre their season was last year. This is why Xeppaa's never done anything in his career. Every time C9 tries something different he doesn't go along with it and just resists any kind of change to what he's used to despite literally never achieving anything in Valorant
It's mainly speculation, but it is backed up by some small sample sizes of the Sen city classic voice comms, and the fact that C9 announced it was due to IGL style, and in past years the IGL style was very free, they definitely joked about the "oxy go kill" thing a lot. Obvi no exact way to tell and jokes are just jokes so its just a guess. And it also could be a thing where even if he wasn't "micromanaging" he probably did want some change whether it be for more discipline, or maybe he was more aggressive when it came to holding people accountable than they were used to idk. Some players care about that, other don't we'll never know fs until C9 players themselves say, but past Rossy teammates like iZu are very confused so I would guess that he's not mean and players understand there's just a desire to win, but idk maybe C9 weren't expecting that even if winning came as a result 🤷♂️.
Shanks and J said this on stream after watching Oxy's reaction to Rossy's sacking. C9 players are acting like dicks to Rossy's sacking. How can an Org allow players to dictate such decisions? The coach or the owner knows better, what is best for the team.
Many of Rossy's past teammates support him, which means the players are to be blamed, too, not Rossy alone. Considering how bad they are no wonder they ever achieved anything. Rossy was one of the best players and they sack him to bring Mitch in? Really?!
