tsm qual'd to ascension because of seven having an absolute miracle game against mxs where sym was pretty bad, also sym may have led in fkpr but he also had the highest fdpr

having a high fdpr isnt necessarily a bad thing, just means hes aggressive

its worth taking the .18 fdpr for the .22 fkpr. hes playing duelist

theres no stat on vlr showing how much he gets traded on those fdpr, but if he gets traded on the fd its almost as good as a fk

kinda? assuming we arent 13-0ing every team a good duelist should be raking in some fds here and there

its a very narrow view of valorant to view duelist fds as a bad thing, especially when hes entrying as much as sym does. its much more important for a duelist to get FK than avoid FD

.18 isnt very high, especially with how much sym gets you that first blood

also u need to consider tsm isnt a top team like m80, they bottomed the event. a worse team takes the FD more often, so the fact that sym had so much FK in the first place is a good thing, especially when his FD is significantly lower

sym isnt good dude. and hes no where near primmies level. i hope this event opened your eyes.

They did good in stage 2. and sym went .23 fk and .22 fd. the first deaths in this game vs c9 was a big reason for them getting destroyed.

yeah that goes both ways for the fk/fd stat. hes always taking the first fight and hes barely positive doing it. just cuz he leads doesn't mean hes the best at it. efficiency > quantity. also being traded is part of the KAST stat, which he did not have a good number for. i dont think sym was the worst player, but he's not tier 1 worthy imo. clearly eg scouts think differently so maybe im wrong but i think there were multiple duelist players in tier 2 who were much better. also he had .21 fdpr in split 1, .22 in split 2, and the .18 is only for ascension.
