S1mple was the goat of CS and FPS games, could have been Faker 2.0 (at least for fps), but instead decided to throw it all because he didn't like CS2 and now he is bit washed. Faker in other hand is still competing in top level even if he isn't the absolutely best individual anymore, but his teams are still doing really well and he stays humble and grinds the game. Kinda sad that S1mple mental is so shit.
Faker is an anomaly tbf, always has been
Used to be the best player now he is cultivating the best players
He went 7years with constant failures, coming so close yet never winning, yet never have up
It's hard to have that kind of mental

Listen, I didn't like CS2 either. But it's not my job. On other hand, it is his job to play the game. I don't get where I don't like this game, so I will leave a year and half and expect that by the time I am back I am still the best comes from. You won't. It's a long time.
league easier game than cs. becoming goat in cs 100x harder than LOL. s1mple was on shit team for literally 5+ years and always carried whereas faker has had t1 or skt1 the literal biggest org in SK and only managed to win 4 worlds. Also, there have been better players than fakers in the years he didn't win worlds. Where as s1mple even though he wasnt winning during astralis era he was the best player in the game by a margin
Based, s1mple carried hiko and jdm to a major final, lost to prime Brazilian CS, then went to navi with SEIZED, Guardian (who didn't give two fucks about CS at that point), Edward (washed) and flamie (solid but not top 20) and carried them to top 8. In 2018 he carried zeus and edward to a major final against prime astralis. That's like asking tenz to carry tenz to gf of champs with hiko, shroud and zellsis and only having zekken as help.
you have no idea what you're talking about delusional cs frog 🤣🤣 2023 t1 went 1-7 while faker was injured, that team literally played like a bunch of clueless chickens until faker came back and they end up winning worlds. also in 2017 faker was literally 1v9 carrying a bunch of bums all the way to worlds finals, probably the hardest individual carry performance in esports history.
Of course he isn't, but he was pretty much the best/2nd best CSGO player for like 5 years in a row and was around top 5 for 2 years before that. While like you said not accomplishing as much with his teams. Guy like dev1ce has been top rated for long as well, but he was also on Astralis who used to dominate. Faker is in league of his own, but in many ways s1mple has been "the Faker of FPS" or at least the closest to that title. Both are some of the most known and respected players in esport.
but what i'm saying is that s1mple could have just kept playing and keeping up his legacy as a goated player, but instead just decided to throw it all out because he didn't like cs2, becoming almost irrelevant as a current player. Also to point that s1mple was still really good individual in 2023, and he could have easily kept performing on top level for years to come and potentially win titles. While Faker still plays, wins and adapts while arguably not being at his peak anymore.
