Dep said he's willing to flex, do you guys think this is a waste?
(Assuming the rumours about zeta rosters are true)
I don't think so. For me, I think we should think about it this way:
Dep is willing to flex, which means he is most likely ready to learn different agents.
Besides, if ZETA get a good replacement, then I think it will just be a good decision overall.
Sure, it might not work for let's say the first year but I think we can give them time and Dep can cook.
ying [#9]me want see syouta controller not syouta duelist D:
Nah syouta on duelist is much better than his controller days

I hope so.
I haven't seen a Japanese duelist with the same aggressive and sacrificial playstyle as Dep. Meiy is too, but he demands a lot of init skill sitting. Most Japanese duelists are half-baiter style like Demon1, Saya, and meteor when he were duelists, and Syouta is one of them, so it would change the whole playstyle of the team.

I've never noticed that about dep until now tbh, how will the playstyle change if syouta becomes duelist?

That's not a bad thing, but those types of duelists need someone to do the 'dirty job' for them. Like EG era Jawgemo.
Without such a player, the game can become rather stiff and slow. I think that's one of the reasons for slow tempo of tier 2 Japanese games.

So you're saying putting syouta as duelist will slow the game ?
Poh1238 [#17]no he was some goat flex if you forgot he was monster back then his pick roll was too wide to win we needed 5 dep
Really? Even in his reject days I always thought he sticked with duelist

he was well known in jp val pro scene how good he can play any roles he just went full duelist because hes too good that no other choices was around to make him other than duelist cuz thats the most efective way to use cracked player
IonlywatchvcjXD [#18]So you're saying putting syouta as duelist will slow the game ?
idk but I think it will naturally be a bit closer to XQQ's old zeta.

btw Does Syouta prefer duelist? I've seen rumors that he doesn't like that much.

its not even old brother, forget how he performed godly performance on sova? he was the one who was wasted talent on duelist imo cuz he needed to carry everything without old day cracked tennn
Biostar [#26]btw Does Syouta prefer duelist? I've seen rumors that he doesn't like that much.
he plays anything brother so idk he will be take part of tennn role where he played duelist and sentinel imo
he switched to sentinel with tennn because tennn could work better in duelist.
highlyte [#29]whoever my GOAT plays for next season, I just hope he can deliver his game and take Zeta to an international event
whos the goat you talking bout tho
highlyte [#31]Yuma "Dep" Hashimoto
