I play on mono
I'm deaf in my left ear if I don't play mono I don't hear the left side

Go for IEMs instead of “gaming” headphones. The one I use is Moondrop Chu II. So much better than any headphones I’ve ever used.

It depends on the IEM. Moondrop CHU II has two variants, one has no mic and one has DSP and Mic. I bought the no mic since I already have a mic setup.
