Yo, I’ve been playing more duellist lately and I’ve noticed that I suck on attack but I’m really good on defense (0.98 ATK K/D/ 1.70 DEF K/D) so i wanted to ask if anyone has some tips on how to attack with duellists properly
Rugsssssss [#4]positioning of where you entry is what helped me
try to make sure where you enter from/to on the site leaves you open to as few angles as possible in the situation
Ty I think that’s a good tip, I’m kinda lost when I’m dashing on site and I feel like I’m exposed to so many angles that I’m confused where to look. And probably need to develop a natural time where I take a glance at the mini map as well
welikefortniteandvalorant [#5]Thats actually normal. On defense ur job is to get picks (u do that), and on attack ur job is to make space (i suppose u do that). Kills are your 2nd priority
But in ranked if u wanna get kills or rank up, dont play duelist, play reyna/iso/clove instead and bait ur team.
lol clove is actually working haha

yes, studying pro duelist players helped me, usually they enter the best spots on sites and i just try to emulate that, works wonders
capital_d_colon [#6]It's not necessarily a bad thing.
On attack as a duelist you are more likely to die when entering first.
As long as you are making space and comming important information it should be fine.
Maybe trying to coordinate more utility to clear certain angles could help.
Alr ty, but I kinda feel like I need to get some entry kills at least u know? Can’t be a dead drone always xD
