How to make comp better

Make a queue for no commers and toxic players, to make sure commers are in a game riot can:
A. Implement a certain amt of words per round
B. Have players rate their teammates based off coms
Make mmr better (i was s3 while righting this) One game I do well with golds and the next I play with bronzes.
Make bans longer for toxic people

How else can riot improve comp?

+1, people will say that faceit has a great system, but then I literally found a smurf in my own team who has 2-3 accounts with pretty much the same name. All playing with the same player group, all abusing faceit rules, but then the support tell you ''get fucked lmao''

true, it's actually crazy, I get offended multiple times in the VC by some alcoholics but then when I write ''report this braindead idiot'' after game I get a warning about toxicity.

In what way would you say it restricts a lot of people?, given the conditions of it only applying in cases where people have lower options available, and it extending to the whole party (I.e. if you're from Bahrain and have a friend in London, the Bahraini player can still play on London servers due to someone with <100 ping being present) I think its fair. I think a separate queue is probably out of the question for riot

in the US, if sm wants to play from alaska or hawaii they'd have 70+ ping atleast so I want everyone to be able to enjoy a comp game

Make it so you get longer ban times for purposefully leaving a game, but less or even NO ban time if your game freezes/crashes, your pc restarts, or your internet/power gets cut mid-game.

Also implement a single-map ban system where each player can choose to ban one map from their own queue. This is a thing in Brawlhalla as well and it's really really good because if there's a map you absolutely hate/can't play then you don't have to (also it isn't too far-fetched because VCT teams always get at least one map ban)

Fair point, but I'm pretty sure there's a way apps (especially those with administrator permissions like Vanguard) can sense whether you told your computer to turn off or whether it turned off automatically

Given that they have voice analysis now I think it's actually implementable in extreme cases, we can now tell (almost) for sure if someone leaves due to toxicity

Oh yeah true, if someone gets bullied out of a lobby it isn't right to give them a penalty as well. Imagine having to choose between getting cyberbullied and not playing your favourite video game
