Brim has been relegated to the same role as harbor - never good as a solo smokes and only good in combo with viper

he is good as solo smokes on bind and fracture
you dont NEED viper on bind its only for lurks and manipulating rotations
if more maps with no mid come out he would probably be ideal pick for them

Solo brim on bind only works in ranked tho i feel like. I don't see any teams running solo brim without viper nowadays
Brim main here, giving brimstone global smokes is a bad idea as it could be broken, I agree that he definitely needs a range increase so I can smoke (for exemple on bind) A short if I’m playing on plain B site ( you don’t want to be able to smoke off Shower while being B), the Molly is slightly fine, stim too weak and ult could use a buff

He doesnt have a single amazing ability
All smoke agents have atleast 2 abilities better than brims except clove
Omen - smokes, paranoia and tp
viper - wall, poison orb and ult
astra - smoke, suck, ult is as good as brims and stun is better than a stim

im comparing how bad he is to other agents. Asking for global smokes isnt too much, his smokes dont regen and dont have range

It is a big deal, you can smoke the coke point at the other side of the map and because they last 20 seconds and you can just use a raze to push someone back, they won’t be giving brimstone global range, at best 40s refreshable smoke if really needed but they are gonna focus on buffing the ultimate so it’s really worth 8 points and the stil
