cat question

You guys know cats always land on their feet and don't get hurt. So like we also usually can land in our feet but we get hurt. I don't understand why though. What's the difference between cats landing in their feet and us landing on our feet?

Guessing because they're smaller and they do the whole body twist thing, they fall quite a bit slower than humans (Cat terminal velocity is like half of humans)

it's because cats are much lighter. Imagine having an iphone with a screen protector and just the screen protector itself. If you drop the phone with the screen protector on, the screen protector will crack, but if you just drop the screen protector from the same height, it won't crack because the screen protector is lighter than the screen protector with the phone.

The funny part is it fell flat on its face (i.e. screen protector made full direct impact with the ground).

we have different reflexes, different body structures and we are used to walking on two feet while cats are used to use all 4
