People who think zekken is better than aspas, were you dropped on your head as a baby?

Both have different styles of playstyle. One is more methodical in his way of entrying while the other will throw himself out recklessly to create space but he will also win his duels. I think both are great players and the skill between both are very close

That's not true. Zekken is not entirely selfless. I have seen him make countless selfish plays and bait his teammates. Aspas is more of a KD player sure but he still wins his team games.

i mean stats dont tell the whole picture whatsoever, not saying aspas is necessarily better than zekken but kd is not always impact

This aspas "baiting" playstyle is a new thing that is specific to LEV. if you see the way he used to play on Loud, he wasn't afraid to run it down and die if he had to. LEV just had this playstyle where they would purposely set aspas up to be last alive in crucial rounds like 2v2 and 3v3s. The plan revolved around c0m or mazino going in first after they had used all their utility and get aspas to trade them (which he was usually good for)

this can further be proven by LEV's abyss, where aspas would constantly use the operator on attack, causing him to have low first engagement%. vlr b0ts look at these stats and blame him for baiting when it is 100% a team/coach idea.

but yes you are correct in their skill being both very close, i just think that they are both similar players (maybe aspas > jett and zekken > raze) but I think it's a common misconception that aspas is a baiter.

tldr: aspas no bait and lev coach is at "fault" for this playstyle
