APAC/CHINA Proposal

Masters 1: 2 teams from APAC, 2 teams from China = (4 teams total)
Masters 2: 3 teams from APAC, 3 teams from China = (6 teams total)
Champions: 4 teams from APAC, 4 teams from China = (8 teams total)

Wouldn't it be more fun, entertaining, more viewers, make more revenue for Riot, if both APAC and China can do another Playoffs brackets amongst themselves to bring the best of the best into each International Lan?

So for example, for Masters 1 we need 4 teams from both regions. So why don't APAC take their TOP4 teams from Kickoffs, and China take their TOP4 teams from Kickoffs, and do another separate PLAYOFFS of 8 teams ( 4 APAC + 4 China), then the Best Top4 goes to Masters 1.

(Same for Masters 2 and Champions - Top 6 from Stage 1 and Top 8 from Stage 2 from both Regions)

Purpose:
1 - We can have a more fair chance of either more APAC teams go through or even perhaps more China teams go through but it will be solely based on the stronger team performances and they each will be proven their worth and value that they deserve to go to Internationals.
2 - This way, we can prevent having just "extra lower level teams" just enter Masters/Champions and getting last place in the future years: Ex) FPX, DRG last year.. https://www.vlr.gg/event/1921/champions-tour-2024-masters-madrid/swiss-stage

Yes, Riot providing another Playoffs tournament just for APAC + China only does cost money and time but it would still be extremely more fun for the viewers and can still provide revenue growth so wouldn't this also be considered a good idea? Fair too I would say. (Just sharing a thought/idea guys, enough with the random hate VLR lol). Let's also remind ourselves that China just having their own Region as 1 country is not just fair in itself, whereas compared to other regions they'll have less teams from their own countries enter International tournaments.

too much time effort and money for too little imo, it wouldn't be practical

how will these 'lower level teams' in china improve if they dont go to internationals regularly?

you're acting like apac and china teams dont regularly scrim each other lmao. Also this literally wouldnt work how would you organize a tournament that allows 6 teams to qualify to champs

who's fault is it if chinese lower level teams dont improve? lmfao
also for champs its 4 teams from china and 4 teams from apac so total of 8 teams together. Ah but you're right, Champs would be too tough to do another playoffs since theres so many teams involved. too big of a tournament, didnt think that through. for both Masters I think its possible though.

Chinese fans and viewers will also watch the Playoffs for APAC+China no? Even better to grow more revenue then.

Impractical, I think you're stuck up on the fact that CN is getting explosive support (due to being Rito's cash cow) despite their overall lack of skill.

Nah I get it. Its all about $ and growth. Just think its unfair that 4 Chinese teams can qualify to Champions whereas other regions can't. Atleast make themselves be worthy of it to go. Korea can easily have 4 teams go to Champs, same with North America. Perhaps even Brazil too, etc. (In the future)
