no the rules only compare maps between the 3 tied teams from my understanding

so apeks are already locked at 3-2 maps (so +1)
and most dsy can get is 2-2 (so +0)

the scenarios we made yesterday were under the assumption that ascension uses the normal vct emea rulebook, but it has its own that just wasnt public for us

knocks out mouz too so makes this whole last day a lot less exciting that the main vct emea rulebook would have made it

this is just a seeding game for Apks now ~~(though with this map loss it doesnt matter anymore since theyre 2nd now)~~ <- edit: wrong its h2h for that, so theyre still playing to win for 1st seed

It's a three way tie though if apk lose so technically it should be like map diff and then round diff.. Bodork tweeted that if dsyre dominates and apk, gonext lose 0-2, dsyre qualifies

nah bodorks tweet was still using the vct emea rulebook since the ascension one was only made public a couple hours before todays games (we all assumed there wasnt a separate rulebook but alas)

Not even coaches (or apparently admins) were informed properly about the difference in tiebreakers so a lot of disappointed peeps today x.x

h2h map diff means only the maps played between the tied teams matter for the map diff (#13 for "visuals")

Apeks is 5/3 in maps. DSYRE is 5/5. If Apeks gets 2-0'd then they're both at 5-5. They currently have the same round differential which means if Apeks loses 2-0 they'll have a worse one, which means DSYRE would move on
