For ranked players do yall think headshot percentage matters? Based on the valorant tracker headshot percentages https://tracker.gg/valorant/insights?
Although according to tracker theres an upward trend it seems where the higher you go up in rank your headshot percentage goes up slightly. However my headshot percentage lands between an iron and bronze player but I'm a 15x immortal player

Why are you asking us? Ask some pros.

Yo I'm a pro. It only matters if you can actually shoot a lot of peoples head and just a couple of heads.

It depends on other things. For example, if you are an op crutch you should have a lower hs% because you should be going for headshots. Additionaly, phantom users tend to have lower hs% because of 140 makes it so most kills are head + body.

Basically, it depends

from a plat persepective aim doesnt matter, if you cant get kills and use your abilities and just have good game sense you can get to immortal or even pro play. I mean if you look at some of the pros there hs % is average 20% but there many pros that have 10% or lower

i dont think tracker considers ops into its headshot percentage. Additionally, I am a vandal user mainly. I use it bc bodyshot time to kill on vandal is faster than phantom anything past 15m.

It matters a little. It could be a sign of things to improve but to me it’s in the back of my mind

Unless you take openers for your team, it doesnt make a major difference

It does matter to some extent but being 15-20% HS as you said you are probably just means you arent much of a Vandal user? Unless you are then maybe your pre-aim needs work even for someone who is a 15x immortal player there are things to improve. Maybe with better preaim you can change that 15x immortal player to a 1x Radiant player this time. You are in the rank/elo that pre-aim matters a lot to getting free kills and just mainly aiming body for your kills probably isnt doing you justice in your climb. Overall i guess for you it can be something you can look to improve in the long run but don't fret too much over it you are literally immortal with having like an average HS%

im at 14% lol. I my headshot percentage on vandal is around 21-25 and phantom is at about 20. I prefer the vandal because of the faster time to kill in bodyshots at anything above 15m and also so that my wallbangs are more effective over larger ranges. But anyhow Ill try your advice about the preaim

That's fine as you said you also play Sova, so maybe those Sova wallbangs with Ares/Odin are dragging it down or maybe your pistol rounds aren't your best rounds since pre-aim is more important there and you spam bodies? Overall it probably has to either do with Ares/Odin or your pistol rounds

No, I can drop 40% hs and average 37% on 100 games, and get to the same ranks with 20-25% hs. It's really what weapon your using and your sensitivity. Just Vandal sheriff and jet knife I can average close to 40, if I throw in weapons I like to use base on situational like phantom to anchors or sova ares, my shit would go down. Also sens contributes to that as well, I switch to demon1 sens for 40 percent hs rate, the higher sens I go the more I ends up usibf the vandal like a phantom.

It also depends on ur playstyle. You can be a great player for your util and game sense while also using guns like the odin, phantom or shotguns. Some people do like to keep it clean with just headshots which does increase hs% while others are down to play around smokes, vision blocks, molly's and spamming which does decrease hs%

it's more about TtK or time to kill. If you think it's faster to tap a head than spray, then go for taps. I have seen some pros just intentionally going for body shots
