same thing with lev, usa is americas, and sa is also americas.... so same region.

Do you know if there's a timeframe for an import to get native status? For example, JohnQT has been competing as an import for 2 years now. Does he ever get the native status or nah?

In tier 1 I think there isn't. After franchising I believe once a player starts competing for a region it cannot be changed as far as I'm concerned. But if it existed it would probably be through getting NA citizenship/nationality or something

In EMEA tier 2, if you spend 2 splits in the league you automatically become regional That's why for example we have KPI in Spain with 5 Russians

Different rules for different leagues and regions would be weird. What if a player who turned from 'import' to 'native' status through tier 2 but then got signed to a VCT team? It wouldn't make sense for an already signed VCT pro to not have that same opportunity.

As far as I'm concerned , if an import in tier 2 got signed to tier 1 he's still considered an import, e.g Jemkin and something.

mb , i'm just saying what probably happens in pacific, I have no idea about EMEA

You've just described what happen to JDG. Yeah they kept Stew and kicked Yoman out.

If you win with 2 imports that means you've got to kick one of them or somehow one of them apply for citizenship.

I believe the 2 split thing is only a thing in EMEA. And it has never happened because we've never had outside of EMEA players in EMEA tier 2. But if that were to happen he would still be an import for tier 1 and the region overall. You become regional for that specific VCL, not the entire EMEA
