zekken can’t handle the pressure

Biggest tourney of the year and he kinda ends up choking vs TH which is just a no go. If he didn’t suddenly hit his windows key (definitely got way too nervous there, idk if this has ever happened before) on Icebox then SEN would’ve had a way higher chance to win that round and probably even the series since the scoreline was 8-11

If zekken didn’t choke his knives vs woot then the momentum would’ve definitely swung towards SEN for a good bit as they’re a very momentum based team

the kid is not a finisher and can’t be “the guy” to close out a series in that kinda match. The best in the world won’t make mistakes like these in those kinda moments, which is why someone like Demon1 and Jawgemo back in the champs final were unphased by the pressure of winning the C in VCT

hopefully this kills off the goofy “one of the best itw” debates. Two quiet maps in a Bo3 and then a last second choke in the third one.

Give chokken a break. Not much you could do with sacy as your supporting player

Shut up

the best players in the world will always and consistently show up to win with all they have, zekken isn’t like that though. ik zekken could’ve played way better in that series which is why I’m pointing this out. pressure got to him, it’s not that controversial to say.

like I’m trying to clarify myself when we literally saw him fat finger his windows key MID SWING in a must win round. I’ve have never seen that before in champs

why write so much for a bait? I get baiting, like whatever but why write so much when people stop reading after the first sentence? truly a beginner mistake, no?

Funny how a 12-5 lead choker flair is going about distributing choking certificates.

This is giving him more experience and hes still young so he'll become much better each year. Bet.

Obviously, right now he needs to seriously work on dealing with pressure though, I hope SEN isn’t stupid and they have a sports psychologist already

I just want to add smth to this.
Ana is one of the best dota players of all time, as a rookie he was part of one of the most dominant rosters they had and then left because of how the community treated him due to what seemed to be him reacting under pressure. A year later that roster implodes and to make TI they ask him to come back out of retirement. They play thro open quals and win TI partly due to how fucking amazing ana was. Then he disappeared again only to rejoin a year later and completely break the game as they play some of the most one-sided dota I've ever seen thro that tournament.
Sometimes I wonder how many other "anas" there are out there who never come back

To me it's not that emotional, to you it's not that deep. To the pros who just lost a series and feel like it's their fault and see it who knows
