Will they make any changes if they win Ascension? It feels like they won't be the same as G2 so they would have to make upgrades. So who will they pick up?

GC exists as a safe space for female players. But GC teams have a chance to play in challengers like every other team, they have to play through the open qualifiers and try to qualify for Stage 1. For example, Shopify/V1 played in open qualifiers this year and last year (I think) and got destroyed by essentially low Tier 2 teams and ranked players, which shows the gap between the GC and Challengers.
As for if they have a chance to play in Tier 1, it's possible, but the problem there is that 99.9% of Tier 1 (likely even Tier 2) won't pick them up. It's not a gender thing, it's mainly because there are better players (skill-wise) to pick up than a GC player (no offense).
In the early iteration of EG in 2021, they had a mixed roster that included potter but they weren't that good. Also, the "skill gap" between GC and Challengers is pretty clear. As how I mentioned, SR got destroyed by Tier 2 teams and ranked players and even G2 GOZEN got destroyed by Tier 2 EMEA team FOKUS and 13-0'd by the previous TH roster. If 2 of the best GC teams in their league couldn't beat those teams, it shows how far GC is from Tier 2.
They havent won ascension yet, hope they do. Having said that they havent played a single map in franchising either. Lets just be hopeful that we see some great play and who knows what will happen. Isnt everyone tired of the whole nET 2x,3x, chatter? The guy can play with any team and hold his own. Same holds true for just about any player, its all about being prepped and having good strats and comps with players popping off and supporting eachother. Look at the stats, theres always one or two guys who dont olay well even when the team wins. I wish I could play at this level.
