teams seeded 5 - 12 (aka teams that didnt make champs) will play the first round of upper bracket and the winners of those will face seeds 1 - 4 (champs teams). so essentially all the orgs that qualed for champs this year get a bye in kickoff next year

Will probably have byes for a few teams

If you watch the Riot games video you can see that 4 teams get a bye to the second round.

So the teams at champs for each region are getting a bye
