LOCK//IN TO START OFF THE YEAR WILL BE A BANGER FOR EVERYONE WHO ENJOYS WATCHING VALORANT!
jawn [#3]maybe as an offseason tournament that celebrates the new season, not as a replacement of masters
It takes a huge amount of time and effort in organizing a huge international event and you say offseason? think before you speak next time
Average_NA_fan [#6]nah I pass BRA71L crowd is disrespectful
at a different location then obviously. damn are all these SEN fans ridiculously braindead? lol

hes talking about format u tard
you can host it in any country
donkkomong [#7]It takes a huge amount of time and effort in organizing a huge international event and you say offseason? think before you speak next time
the only acceptable time
donkkomong [#7]It takes a huge amount of time and effort in organizing a huge international event and you say offseason? think before you speak next time
It also takes a huge amount of time and effort organizing off season events what’s ur point?
catNmouse [#12]nah here’s another kickoff event to qualify to another 8 team masters
16 teams Champs > 12 teams Masters > 36 teams Lock//In > 8 teams mickey mouse bullshit
Mortadelo [#15]Will never happen again, way too expensive, and I don't even know if logistically possible. There's 48 Franchised teams now man
oh shit its 48 now? lol yeah that is a lot
Steve585858 [#14]It also takes a huge amount of time and effort organizing off season events what’s ur point?
his point is that who tf would organise a 48 team off season tournament with all the franchised teams
Steve585858 [#14]It also takes a huge amount of time and effort organizing off season events what’s ur point?
better than a 8 team masters and more exciting ^ and that too. with that time and effort spent, lock//in would be better than a mickey mouse masters is my point.
donkkomong [#20]oh shit its 48 now? lol yeah that is a lot
yup, at that time there were 3 leagues and no ascension teams. They invited 2 Chinese teams to make it 32. Now it's 4 leagues with 2 ascended teams each, 48
donkkomong [#8]at a different location then obviously. damn are all these SEN fans ridiculously braindead? lol
He is a baiter, from the weak ones.
Anyways, i tink we should host a lock in at India or Mexico.
Lock in is a chance to "smaller" regions had they own tournoment.

yea 48 is tough. unless Riot got the big balls to make it happen but it'll take a lot of time and work for sure. I think it'd improve a shitload of viewership and popularity though if they pull it off + the new ascension teams coming right in from the start will also make it exciting as well. just a thought.
Diebs [#28]48 team lan is way too expensive
yeah I agree. Riot Val rich as fuck though if they can make that happen, huge respect.
Kirya [#16]its not
it was a really hype event with huge viewership
neck it whoever is copy pasting my message just because my shit lagged
xd...
Jivko [#21]How about instead of Kick Off we have Lock In where the top 8 teams literally lock their places for Bangkok? I swear everybody is tired of watching the same IL matches every other day
it would be nice
Aayan [#32]single elim balls to the wall tournament is actually a really fun (and expensive) idea.
People will say it's 'mickey mouse' or whatever from a quality of gameplay standpoint, but as a viewer it was one of the most enjoyable events imo
agreed. Riot gotta spike up viewership if they want to beat CS2 though

sentinelmain377 [#40]WWW
I was literally about to post the same thing right now, but you already did.
Great minds think alike
Do it so we have more chances for it to be seen!
It honestly is a great idea, for both the viewers and for the teams since they'll have fun competing and the newer pros/teams will have a good experience as well.
+Attract more viewership and hype and fame and Valorant can takeover CS2 (Respect to CS2, just business)
