It's not mickey mouse. The KICK//OFF format is balanced with an even number of teams and a double elimination bracket. Only the best performing teams of the early season will qualify

Two best teams from every region will win kickoff and that means 8 of the best teams in the world will participate which factually means that it won’t be mickey mouse at all. Shouldn’t be so hard to comprehend.
