probably because some players had a 1 in their nickname in other esports (e.g. S1mple -> s0mple, dev1ce -> dev0ce, b1t - b0t), just ruins the feeling of the nickname and 1 standing for superiority being replaced by a number which stands for literally nothing is demeaning. other creatives nicknames still clear, like Team Chokequid

honestly as a guy who followed him since 2018 (when I got into CS), this motherfucker just different, he basically shat on old gen players, inspired new gen players, waited for them to grow up ( monesy, headtrick, shiro, wonderful), mostly shat on them, left, and now has them begging for him to return.
