Predictions or general thoughts?
I think we're due for another recon initiator. Maybe they'll have some kind of vine trap that's controlled like Fade dogs but then snaps up and stuns/seizes when activated. I'd also like to see something like a Breach flash but for recon, maybe like a cam that goes through walls but just lasts for one second.
Really I'd like an initiator that feels better in solo queue for the maps that Fade is bad on. Most of the others feel so slow.
a breach flash with recon-gathering would be insanely busted though, right? unless you mean you can break it like how you used to be able to shoot down a skye flash
personally i think there's so much info-gathering already that a pure-enabler initiator would be good for the game. breach's kit, while niche on some maps, is very strong where it matters. i'd love to see something like that personally

Yeah that's what I was thinking is you can just shoot it like you would a cypher cam but it would have more range and flexibility. I think it could be balanced.
I agree a Breach-esque initiator would be cool too but with the likes of Iso and Deadlock lately who go all in on the secondary aspect of their role idk how successful it would be. Then again, initiator is more suited to that sort of thing than duelist or sentinel

There hasn't been a new initiator in a hot minute so it would make sense for it to be an initiator. Since the last init (Gekko) we got a sentinel (deadlock) duelist (iso) and controller (clove)

Agreed on both points.
I feel like a recon that could go through walls would just make Odin spamming so much more viable. Someone similar to kay-o or breach would be sweet.

Ok actually an agent that goes all in on suppression would be sick. I've been frustrated with ranked lately and rotating between agents trying to find a playstyle that just counters enemies rather than doing its own thing and failing.
