the team is a bunch of frauds without him though the results speak for themselves. S1mon was the true reason why the even made it far bangkok and won kickoffs now that they kicked him edg went from being the best team in cn to the 4th team . They are already declining and making trash changes like jheni and zjc makes them even more dogshit

he was a former duelist player and he was actively playing yoru and learning him........fits right into the meta. s1mon also used to play omen bro is very flexible. he can fit anywhere depending on the comp they want to run.....(flex duelist, scan, flash, smokes, etc)
they won champs and placed 3rd at bangkok, how were they shit? (BANGKOK WAS A DIFFERENT META)
EDG were very good at champs with S1mon, my point was they already started being shit somewhere between the start of bangkok and the end of cn split with him

Sure he might be flexible, but his advantage has always been really good support flashes/stuns - once that is no longer important (this meta where double init is no longer viable apart from 1-2 maps) why would S1mon be the key to EDG's success

I can not understand S1mon hater. The result speaks for itself. With S1mon, EDG achieved at worst a 3rd internationally at Bangkok. Without him, EDG can't even get 3rd at CN. If you think S1mon's result were carried by his teammate's firepower, then why can't EDG achieve anything globally without him?
Have you perhaps considered due to meta changes that they were already falling off with simon, they were forcing the same double init comps from champs that were no longer meta, it was bound to cause issues for them. In CN and scrims, they were slowly looking much worse over time. S1mon has to either flex smokes, sentinel, viper, or yoru if he was still on this team
obviously a single team member can cause a team to implode, what are you on about? s1mon literally went on stream, stirred a fire, and caused anger toward EDG that even resulted in smoggy getting doxxed. he also threw nobody and smoggy under the bus, how could the team function with all that? go read the comments all the EDG players made about s1mon. off those statements alone, you can see how much trouble s1mon was causing. sure, they had good results with him, but if you are causing this much trouble out of the game and not wanting to learn as the meta changes, it is not surprising at all that you get replaced.
Who says the situation around them getting benched was the same? Youll never know if the way he handled it was extreme because not context is known other than when edg fed you. The only ACTUAL context shown the the messages of s1mon which showed the actual unfair treatment and blatant hypocrisy of the team and management. The roster change was made prior to his outburst which is why the idea that he was the sole cause is stupid given there were problems prior which these messages stem from. You don't seem to get the timeline

I don’t see a world where you’re actually being serious, S1Mon has undoubtedly caused an irreparable rend to form between himself and the rest of EDG. Simply suggesting to slot him back into the team in a meta where Breach is weak is absolutely absurd and unrealistic. EDG’s current issue is their lack of suitability to the current meta. Kang kang simply doesn’t mesh with Yoru and Muggle has a weak read on what’s actually good.
I'm being very series this team is a joke. I'm not suggesting they slot him back in at all but its funny thats something they'd probably do given they're clueless S1mon ALONE did not cause irreparable damage or an irreparable "rend" never should have gotten to that point to begin with if the team had a good team environment with good management.
