Is there any way this man can somehow participate in military? At least for PRX he is not needed. He is not willing to expand the agent pool and the performance of the available agents is low.

"Can we put him back this 21 year old man into the military despite being exempt for life due to a medical condition just because I don't like the way he plays this video game?"

Prove it. Prove he doesn't have a life-long medical condition, prove he's not medically unfit for any form of service, and prove he's not undergoing treatment. Because I've read at least a dozen articles from trusted sources that say that exact thing.

How about you prove the opposite? Two things can be true at the same times. He is not wrong to assume the other, considering the history of people managing to bribe their way out of service in SG, paired with the fact that they won't reveal the condition. How about you prove his innocence?

#22

I can't. I don't know Jinggg personally, and it's been said that it's a private matter. But if the organization he works for publish a statement themselves, then that's the best and most accurate thing we have to go off of. https://x.com/pprxteam/status/1773681552968610016

#26

Nope. That's not the best thing you have to go off of, that's the only thing you have to go off of. And there is a big possibility of the org is straight up lying on behalf of him (plenty of people evade ns in SG, why can't a fairly mid-profile guy with money like j0nggg can't?) which is why people still accuse him.

Had he came out and revealed his condition, this possibilities wouldn't remain and no one would have accused him. Hope that helps.

why tf would he get bribed out jsut to play valorant when his own mother wanted him to go to university after his service. plus getting out of military service is extremely fucking hard especially . Singapore has a very low corruption rate as well. u guys are actually fuckijng retarded

#24

Because he wanted to? What a weird question. Bro just searched up "SG corruption rate" and came to the conclusion that no one ever evades national service. You don't know how SG works, you don't know how state mandated military service works, so stay in your lane.

There's like plenty of people getting fined for avoiding NS every year (the fine's like 4k or something lmao), you genuinely think no one ever evades that? Cool story bro

You got to realize you can opt out of NS with very common issues, such as flat foot or being too tall/short. So Jinggg doesn't need to be on his deathbed to be opt out. On your point of bribery, Jinggg does not nearly have enough money or influence to do that. Even olympic medalists are required to come back for military.

He paid government officials to get a certificate that says he is physically unfit to do service. That thing is probably reserved for actual people with disabilities and bro abused it to play video games (and suck at it too)

Even actual big time k-pop artists have to do their military service. But our kpoop star j0nggg doesn't have to!

#6

where did you see that he paid the officials lmao, if that was possible wouldn't the kpop artists do it too?

#8

He might have bribed the medical examiners and not the government officials (although they are technically gov. officials) and when he returned, every Singaporean was saying that it's very easy to do that. "Lifelong medical condition" that prevents him from serving time but it sure doesn't prevent him from doing literally everything else like competing. Also doesn't want to reveal for some odd reason.

And military service is seen as a rite of passage in SK. Idols who serve are often viewed more favorably because they are seen as responsible citizens who are not above the law. Those who try to avoid it or delay it without a good reason can face public backlash, accusations of selfishness, and damage to their careers. I think Faker and T1 members had to go through it because they were exempt from service because they won a gold medal (I think they deserve it but the people might not)

Even if they have a good reason, they still face backlash. I remember hearing about how an idol with a torn acl got an exemption and people got giga pissed for some reason.

Exactly. They all have their different reasons for doing it but the main point is that they all do it.

#20

Where is your source that he has a lifelong condition, and you're not allowed to say "prx twitter"
You thinking his excuse is the truth, is an assumption just like my guess of him not being unfit for service. So don't give me that crap. At least my assumption is grounded more in reality.

Have you heard of the phrase 'innocent until proven guilty'? If I say something and 10 people accuse me of lying without evidence, does that mean I need to prove myself to all of them? That's flawed logic.

#27
arin2016

Frags

You don't know how "Innocent until proven guilty" works. It's for when the person accused actually has the willingness to prove his innocence in a scenario where he is accused. j0nggg already knew people were going to accuse him of evading service (since majority don't do that without a good reason) especially considering he doesn't want to reveal the condition. So basically he doesn't want to prove himself innocent.

So I'm free to make my assumptions. And my assumption is that j0nggg evaded NS like a whole lot of people do, and will get punished for it in future (if he stays in SG) when the gov. eventually finds out there is something wrong in the papers.

#28

You're misunderstanding the principle of "innocent until proven guilty." You can search for it on wiki. It doesn't require the accused to prove their innocence, it requires the accuser to prove their accusation. Just because someone chooses not to reveal personal medical information doesn't mean they're guilty of anything. Making assumptions without evidence and treating them as fact is wrong. If the government had found something wrong, they would have acted on it. Until then, baseless speculation isn't needed.

#29
arin2016

Never said it requires the accused to prove their innocence, but they do need to show willingness to clear up the accusation from their name.

Besides, that shit is reserved for high profile accusations. That doesn't even apply to j0nggg lmao. Elon Musk is also accused of partially owning emerald mines in Zambia. Of course, it isn't proven in court. So should people not accuse him of doing that?

You don't need the speculation because you blindly trust j0nggg. I don't care about that. I'm still allowed to speculate and I will.

#34
CatEffect

Where does this 'willingness to clear up the accusation' come from? I don’t think that’s required to be considered innocent at all, especially since this isn’t some big drama that needs a statement yet.

Yes, 'innocent until proven guilty' is used in high-profile cases like in court, but it can also apply anywhere when discussing whether someone’s innocent or not.

And don't worry, I'm not blindly trusting jinggg. It does look sus that he suddenly has a medical condition, but no one else besides you is calling him out on it—that's because there's also a chance he's telling the truth. But you’re talking like it’s a fact, and I don’t agree with that.

This is my last response

It's not that hard to dodge NS in Singapore
All you need to have is connections to a doctor and money or have like cancer or severe mental illness
https://www.cmpb.gov.sg/before-ns/pre-enlistment-process/medical-screening-and-psychometric-test/physical-employment-standards-pes
If you get PES Status F (means you don't have to serve), it MEANS you can't even do a basic office job (printing papers or using laptop or helping them take out the trash, etc)
