he's had plenty of clutches this tournament
Aspas is the goat of playing second fiddle. He was the second best in 2022, 2023, and now 2024.
W, though I like both players a lot. Kinda fitting both had their own cinderella runs.
"So many" like who. Who else is putting up first kill numbers like Kang Kang other than maybe Zekken?
You just forgot KK destroyed Aspas when he was still on Loud in Tokyo?
You got to realize you can opt out of NS with very common issues, such as flat foot or being too tall/short. So Jinggg doesn't need to be on his deathbed to be opt out. On your point of bribery, Jinggg does not nearly have enough money or influence to do that. Even olympic medalists are required to come back for military.
Didn't Lev just destroy G2 in the America's league finals?
You could look through the cn vods. Bro spoke like 2 words for 3 questions lmao.
He's fine, he's just nervous being interviewed. He's like the most introverted person you can meet. Bro was ice cold in the finals against fpx.
Nah bro's more nervous about that interview then he is the match lmao. Bro destroyed FPX in his first finals.
If anything, all the players need to apologize to Alecks. I am surprised he hasn't died of high blood pressure yet.
Riot wasn't always owned by Tencent. The numbers from China made them Riot go Chinese, not the other way around lmao.
Yeah, they should get EU's slots from 2-4, one team region anyways.
For political reasons. Fans actually quite like the players individually.
No they play cross group in sports too. I'm not sure about the single elim, I guess they want the first seed to mean more.
Because they're in different groups. Look at sports. Seeding is determined by relative performance within the group.
I'm basing off chemistry mostly through trades and group reactions. I thought OPTIC looked slightly better on that end, but I haven't seen them in a while. If they can feel pressure and break down, that's a reason why they aren't the fourth-best team ever. Also, you never addressed 2024 prx or 2024 lev compared to Madrid geng.
Their first match against EDG and last match against SEN on Icebox I did not like. Those two games showed a lapse in their teamwork. One almost cost them the series, and one cost them the title. They are an inexperienced team that played way more methodically than expected but still cracked down. I would argue they also rely on firepower a lot, as seen on Breeze with Karon clutching 1v3s out of his ass. If we give 2022 teams the 2022 sandbox and geng the current sandbox, Optic and Loud win as they are more experienced with better chemistry. Their series against EDG, if anything, showed that against a team that was willing to just fight, they had to resort to hero plays (Map 2 Split). I would say this: I don't think the difference is nearly as big as others think. I honestly think the 2024 teams win pretty handily.
I mean, yeah, in the future. But I thought this was a ranking for that tournament. I think specifically Madrid Geng isn't as good as Champions 2022 Loud or Optics when they won the Masters, or current prx and lev.
I see what you're getting at, but IMO, Val is such a meta-defining game for the pro scene that I think dominance in their time and accomplishments are more telling. I don't agree that Sentinels 2021 is better than 2023, but I think Loud 2022 and Optic should be higher. The only real outlier from this list I see is Geng. I think all finalists deserve at least to be in the honorable mentions, but I don't see them beating current PRX or Lev.
But you have to take results into context. Like sports, teams are ranked based on eras. None of the players in the 90s or 80s are better than players now in the NBA due to better training methods and conditioning practices, but they were still better. Optic, Loud, and Fnatic were by far the most dominant teams of their time we've ever seen, only for you to put Geng at 4th?
