Tbh even then it's really just the gravnet and sometimes the wall that get value. The sonic sensors need to be reworked if she's ever gonna be a good pick outside of Trace's Bind.

No the problem is that they rarely get triggered to begin with because they're even easier to just walk up and shoot than other trips.
They should be something that she can remotely detonate after placing, maybe even as a flash.

any person that still thinks of deadlock as a sentinel has already shown why they dont understand why deadlock is good. Deadlock is serving as an initiator in comps, thats why when teams have tried to deadlock and no cypher they are struggling so hard defensively. She is closer to breach than she is to cypher, and you have to understand that to get any use out of her

What farms in ranked plat games is not gonna do shit in pro play. It's the same with Cypher kill setups, except these stuns can't even be relied upon to provide info.

cypher kill trips are still broken in pro play lol
her trips reseting means a jett/neon/raze/yoru running through them wont obliterate your setup, and means the enemy team has to clear them out slowly or use util - the same way cypher setups demand util.
a flash doesn't fit her kit or role at all, and activating them manually would be useful 1/200 games
Deadlock is like Harbor. She looks like a bad agent but ONLY because teams aren't picking her much, and teams aren't picking her much because people don't know how to play her, and people don't know how to play her because they've never had to learn. We haven't really gotten a catalyst for people to try to learn Deadlock (or even Harbor, to some extent). A catalyst like for Gekko with the Skye nerfs.

They really aren't except for like late round situations where enemies don't have time to clear them.
Yeah I mean when you put it that way it would be fair for them to rearm but that still just seems so unintuitive when no other utility works like that. It's clear something needs to be done to improve the sensors though

the sensors whole shmick is that they work off of sound, i think they need to stick to that, but buff other parts of it to make it actually threatening - a cypher trip is scary as fuck but getting stunned once doesn't feel impactful enough.

people destroying the trips isn't the problem - it rarely happens
the problem is that when they activate, they either miss entirely, or have very little impact with the stun.
