My opinion on G2

I hate this team for no reason. Maybe because they are too good but they lack entertainment. They are making valorant look more strategic but it shouldnt be. Valorant is a game for braindead plays. Moreover they play no duelist comps. It would've been good if they played chamber but their comp is too boring.
G2 are the prob favs after GENG rn IMO

I too first thought GEN G was boring but look at texture and meteor. Their plays are at least entertaining us. Texture's shots, Meteor's sheriffs and Karon's flashy plays. But on the other hand Icy is just too passive while playing duelists. These guys are playing too strategically which is good for them but not for viewers

This definetely isn't true idk why people still say this, he is more than "comfortable" to play duelist and entrys alone with util many times. It's just more suitable for G2 as a team to play a few no duelist comps especially since they mostly do it on the maps where it's actually good and also cause it suits their team-oriented playstyle

Im a bit dissappointed because it seems a lot of people don't like G2's playstyle when I like it a lot. I think it is very impressive to see valyn midround and react to all these high level teams so well. And their coordination is nice to watch from me too. I know it's not very flashy gameplay but I find it very entertaining still, even more than teams like prx

I understand what you mean. I've been watching all of these champs games even though they start at 01:00 for me in NA, and I think APAC's style of gameplay is fun to watch but can be exploited easier by other teams unlike slower teams. It is always fun though to see these regional differences clash.

I think Leaf is hella entertaining! when he's hitting his shit he's the best player in the server and it isnt close. But g2 is super well structured and they focus on winning the round no matter what which often leads to boring gameplay as they don't have to do anything flashy or crazy. They don't throw by making hero plays often because they play as a unit

That won't happen. Teams playing agro may adapt to strategies because this year none of the agro team had success.

PRX has just downed the agro gameplay. The perfect agro gameplay is now shown by FPX in my opinion. The only problem is they are changing a lot of comps which can affect consistency
Another example is FNC. Look at them, they were just using meta comp last year to abusing ISO this year. Thats the type of gameplay i like. I hope FPX does the same with autumn and Life.
I would prefer FNC as the evolution of Agro + strat gameplay

I love G2 BECAUSE they make VALORANT such a coordinated, strategic game. As someone appeals more to the tactical than the fps, it's genuinely fun to watch them play, to watch them make great plays and completely dissect their opponents' comps and strategies.
