Why Do You Support Your Team?

The title pretty much sums it up. Is there a reason why you support your favorite team? Was it a specific moment in VCT that made you want to or did it carry over because you supported the ORG in another game?

Same reason as most PRX fans, their original playstyle at the time.

Sentinels, the first team I knew and follow back then, up until now. Gambit, excellent team, impressive play, clutch king. PRX, unique playstyle

GE - they are my home country team
Heretics - I was really fucking impressed by Benjyfishy and woot performance and clutches
GenG - They won us pacific the first trophy😭😭😭
PRX - I got into VCT eSports after watching thier singular NRG vs PRX game at Tokyo

I should be hopeful, but past results tell me that even with the underdog buff we're not actually gonna win anything so I'm content just being entertained watching the boys play the most random comps imaginable and run it down

When I started watching Valorant I didn't really have a team I supported I just wanted to watch good valorant. Eventually I started to mainly support Optic but to like a serious degree I just liked that they were playing good valorant. but then, I forget which year but it was the NRG roster that had s0m Ethan eeiu hazed and tex and I just absolutely loved that team and started supporting NRG after that and still do. I am still the same way where I will support GOOD valorant but NRG are my team now.

Kind of the the opposite for me tbh. I was a really big Optic fan because they were like one of the only competitive NA teams back then. Now that they're out of franchising, I just watch for the love of the game but I do have teams that I like watching more than others because of entertainment value.

they had 3 british players in first strike, and were one of the best teams as SUMN FC. (i supported lulquid for a bit of 2021, but when fnc beat them at masters i went back)

Trust me, I watch for the love of the game and a main reason I stuck with NRG after franchising was partly due to the Optic core but mainly because of s0m staying on the roster. Like I support NRG but i'm not like a delusional fan that will be like "NRG better than Sen ong"

One day I expanded the esports I watched and started to follow Call of Duty. GenG picked up a roster in the BO4 season and my favorite player was on that team. After that they got a cs roster and they were very early to valorant esports, making it easier for me to follow one brand. Bu I’m able to say I’ve been a GenG fan for around 6-7 years which is cool. Also shout out to blank (GenG old val manager) he is a cool dude
