I think it’s in 2022 the investigation had finished, that’s why he competed last year in NA qualifiers

same as you. cause people were still saying that signing him was a "risk" and that orgs would prefer someone without that kind of history and stuff. doesn't help that some people just outright hate him, confused me because i would have thought it was related to what he's done

The problem was it was riot investigation instead of law enforcement so i still take the result with a grain of salt. Also most people in the scene who are not friends with him are still staying away from him so i think there are unfinished business

we all know he has an asshole personality since OW days, but he's a really good player, one of the best. the case just make some people's hate "justified", making opinion about him more polarized
