what makes this agent so bad in pro play? we saw demon1 using it pretty well last year on EG. this year, its been nowhere in the top tournaments. internationally, only FPX, T1, and FUT have used it. FPX used it and bombed out 0-2 at madrid. FUT used it only on split, and T1 used it in shanghai and promptly dropped their chamber player after stage 2.

i think chamber is being slept on lowkey tho. with an aimer like demon1 the headhunter is broken on eco and the ult has been buffed a while ago so it is pretty fast

The only map I think chamber should be used more is sunset cause Jett is pretty bad while chamber is pretty good on those angles

Over cypher? Hell no. Also over raze that directly counters the overpowered agent cypher? No chance.

What do you mean over raze, who am I saying to play over raze. I’m saying that sunset is Jett’s worst map and sunset is one of chambers best but people still play Jett more often than chamber. Also I don’t think cypher is a must pick like that

2023 EG did tho, their bind comp used chamber (nrg although they shat the bed also had chamber) and it worked well, they used it throughout champs and only lost to prx on it (in upper finals)

and then chamber was buffed again some time ago

whole different meta, that’s when skye and viper were the 2 best agents so viper had the ability to heavily play smokes and defense and defend a site

who would you replace for chamber?

in a meta where double senti is becoming popular w deadlock cypher, and double initiator is king with an entry duelist, chamber just doesn't provide enough info to warrant usage

if you end up running chamber, you lose cypher/kj, and essentially TONS of info, which isn't feasible when you basically need double initator or double smokes or both sometimes

The reason chamber worked on Bind in 2023 was because Skye was so broken that she ended up filling the info role of 2 initiators in one, leaving an open slot for teams to fill, which is why demon1 could flex (because they had enough info from the solo skye)

Solo Skye was also why double dive was so popular in 2023. Skye + viper was so strong. I honestly think more teams should have done it on ascent.

I just checked to see if I’m retarded and looked at 2023 c9 Skye viper ascent and they won all 4 times in dominant fashion over strong teams

Chamber has no util, it's basically a gamble that your chamber player will get a lot of kills, especially FKs.

With Chamber you are the trip, and that's just not enough for a sentinel in the current meta. 2023 meta was different and you could get away with a good Chamber player in your team comp. But now you're giving up so much map control and information. The only map that Chamber is solid on in the current meta is Sunset.

If chamber gets a buff on his trips like having no limit range and/or having the chance to buy two then we could see him being played again since hed be able to gather info passively in more places. Current Chamber can only be constantly posted up in a place to get info unlike other sentinels who can gather lots of info passively
