I've only ever tried Budweiser (green apple) and Heineken

I am assuming those who enjoy it have grown accustomed to the taste after several beers, or simply enjoy the bitter taste. Regardless, people are different and like different things.

I have personally never seen anyone choosing to drink beer solely for the alcoholic relief that inevitably comes from its consumption, we like the taste of our favourite beers + not all beer is bitter, some are, every beer is different
