I mean i understand ur salty abt ur loss. But like remember what happened when Sentinels were on the big international stage? They cooked. Sentinels beat both GenG and Heretics when it mattered the most. And currently, Aspas is at peak form right now along with the whole squad of leviatan. Its pretty obvious that Leviatan are arguably the best team in the world. They just can't choke like last time

AMER was 2 team region with ALL other teams being completely shit
(NRG getting bilibilied, KRU losing to GIANTS, LEV being worse than KRU, SEN 100T C9 FURIA MIBR being a mess)

EMEA was 1 team region with NAVI GIANTS and FUT looking decent at the end of the year

  • NAVI had two extremely close back to back banger series against LOUD & DRX (3rd and 5th place) with the following scores:
NAVI 13-15 DRX, NAVI 13-9 DRX, NAVI 12-14 DRX
NAVI 13-11 LOUD, NAVI 11-13 LOUD, NAVI 11-13 LOUD

  • GIANTS had a decent game against EDG, who got 6th place, and beat KRU 2-0.

  • FUT were a top 7-8 team of the year.

First of all, where the hell is Liquid, they had a more successful year than anyone in EMEA besides Fnatic
Second of all, the fuck you mean "GIA better at 3/3 events", they only attended 2 events that year and in lock-in they were better by 1 game because they got dfm as their first draw 💀

bro?

  1. LOCK//IN: GIA > KRU at LOCK//IN. GIANTS also got a map off NRG (when NRG was looking decent) remember.
  2. Tokyo Split: KRU went 0-9 in groups of Tokyo Stage while GIANTS went 5-4 in group stage.
  3. Champs 23: GIANTS beat KRU at Champions 2023.

even if you want to believe KRU was better at LOCK//IN, GIANTS were clearly better in the other 2 stages of the year

I cant just not compare GIANTS and KRU at a certain point of the year. Otherwise the comparison would be unfair no?

also for the TL point, im comparing the 4 best teams from each region by the end of the year

The comparison is unfair regardless because they are different events with completely different teams playing in them. You can't compare the two without being dishonest.

Holy fuck, if you had said stages in your original statement, this would be fine, but you are comparing two separate events. We don't know how well Kru would've done in EMEA or how well Giants would've done in Americas. I'm arguing that framing is incredibly bad here, these teams did not play in the same event like your statement would originally imply, because it does for everything else you listed. Using regional results for only one group of teams is dishonest, use it for all of them, or none, then it is more fair. For tokyo, since neither of them attended, you can literally just say that they didn't attend. In this scenario Giants is still better than Kru so it still gives your point for this

You’re correct but only because CN ON TOP BABY ALL CN GRAND FINALS INCOMING GET READY FOR BLG VS FPX

Tbf sen and lev can definitely do it, sentinels were visibly burnt out in split 1 and got some much needed rest (tbf maybe shouldn’t have try harded all the t2 events as much as they did) while lev have made coaching changes and look much better now, so they have shown visible improvement from Shanghai
