Expectations for Fnatic

FNC is almost guaranteed Champs based off of champs points alone, but where should we expect them to place given their recent performance, alongside the fact that Leo has had some time off. (Even though it's likely Leo will come back for Champs, the time off will certainly have an impact on the teams performance)

I feel like this year the level of competition is overall lower, so that makes it slightly more favourable for them, but on the other hand they've looked like only a shell of their former selves. Personally I think they are a solid 5-6th place team at champs rn. What do you guys think?

THE WORST THEY CAN PLACE:

if they were worse than the top 3 EMEA, the top 4 AMER, GENG PRX, and FPX
the lowest they place is 11th.

i see them being grouped (with hiro) or placing 7-8th (leo).

Level of competition is lower kekw bro it's just that everyone has catched up and they can't rely on hero plays anymore, and something feels off in fnatic don't know whats that

with hiro, I see them at least making playoffs (7th-8th)

with Leo, I think they can be a Top 6 team

Id agree with others here with that they can make playoffs. Theyre a team that doesnt have those major flaws youll find in a lot of the worse group stage teams, however they also lack anything special to set them apart from the mid teams.
They have the problem that their playstyle doesnt suit the meta, where concise and fast game plans are the norm. It also doesnt help that imo theyre one of the worst teams at snowballing.
With Derke being back (for a while now tbf) I dont see them getting run over, so I do think theyll be able to exploit the weaker competition during the group stage. I dont see them get further than that though, due to the flaws mentioned above.

unless they're in a group of death, they should make playoffs (with hiro or Leo)

further than that will be hard. I'd say 7-8th, unless derke, alfa (or Leo) drop 30 bombs left and right, they might get 5-6th

its hard to even guess at it atm because of the meta changes, and the only test they have had in the new meta is a vitality that didnt look good

basicly its hard to say because the only new thing ive seen so far is the TTR comp on ascent
