insecurity. i hate that shit too. literally trying to show "oh it doesn't matter that we just got destroyed 1-13. I, as the IGL, do NOT care that we just got embarrassed on the world stage in front of over a million people" it's a lot of pressure but stop trying to be meta and just take the L and move on. too proud to be upset

of course it's not that important, but reacting like that shows insecurity, and pride. Those are not good personalities which I'm judging here.
Why not just be neutral or a little disappointed, like MOST people would do? Show humility and responsibility?

Nah nothing is toooo serious in life and nothing matters in the grand scheme of ur life until it's a life or death situation, sure living THE life and having achievements is a great way of rewarding life but beating urself up and being sad just because u lost isn't an absolute nessacity or some shit. Sure people can be sad because they lost but they can also shake it off and laugh if they learned their mistakes from it. Move on get and be better next time . Don't matter allat

okay but this is a bigger outlook on life, it still will be one of the bigger moments in his life and it does matter a lot
its like if a footballer lost a must win game against the 6th place team which would have earned him $20k clause in his contract if his team qualified to europa league. it will still be one of the biggest moments of his life for both money and pride and he will not get many moments like it in his life before he grows old and cannot accomplish it anymore.
the footballer doesnt have to cry and be sad, but it still is important. you tried playing down the importance of the game and i disagree which is what im talking about, not being sad publicly which is what you are talking about

There's no need to show disappointment if they actually aren't. Stop caring too much about what people think about their loses holyy. I am sure they are pros and they have learned their lesson to be better and laughing it off or coping is absolutely fine. Don't need to be all emo because u lost one tourney. Boostio is the one who laughed and he is a fucking champ who's been to 2 finals and got top4 in this one . Sure he would be gutted that he lost this one but laughing it off shows his confidence that he'll back and even if not he has achieved plenty enough already
