what he did worked for one year and he decided to change it. if it aint broke why fix it bruh. we slow defaulting on attack with a cracked oper. if ur gonna slow default give him an op to get some picks.
after is forcing edg into a playstyle they dont really suit.

He joined around a month before Masters Tokyo (where they noticeably performed)
After he left EDG's general gameplay has taken an absolute nosedive in quality

I wouldn't say sword9 had that much of an effect. The style EDG played was the same from 2023 lock:in all the way to tokyo. But you can see After gradually wanting them to change more into a fnatic style team

i'll agree that the style was the same but they were way more drilled & actually adapted. their system feels completely different and the only way I feel like it could be explained is that AfteR has complete control & changed it without any pushback

On sunset what was he doing? He only has benjy and reins to clear so many times.
These EDG players thought they can emulate FPX slow game and win and ended up not planting the spike 3 times.

Bruh major problem for edg rn is their playstyle rn not kk. Why are they trying so hard to change their playstyle? At least were more fun to watch in past. And it was the same in madrid too he was doing everything alone. Edg coordination just looks too weak too compared to last year.

I am not saying entrying is easy. but you are talking about the most hyped player in the region. Don't you expect him to get the first kill atleast or atleast take a 1v1.

Get Yoman to IGL instead of Haodong no? I feel like they are so lost on the map
It seems like they lack firepower from the other guys too
Like there are better players than Nobody and Haodong (They both had great Tokyo but we didnt see that performance since then)
For example AAAAY seems more consistent and straight up better initiator so him and Yoman who was IGL in China last year would be good pickups no?

What I've heard from fans is that AfteR has been on fraudwatch within the CN community for a long time. This new playstyle of theirs looks AWFUL for the players. They're not comfortable at all. Haodong and Nobody might need to go at this point, or at least get a different IGL. The difference between EDG and FPX in Shanghai is like night and day.
