JUST MY OPINION
you might disagree with top 1 but have to admit there’s no more complete player, literally stopped playing his comfort pick which was Jett with OP, to be the flex player in the team and still performs well with every agent but cypher hahhaha, and I don’t think all the other players on this list can do that.
If you think I forgot about anyone or want to change anyone for other just let me know.
So you put him #1 since he gave up his comfort pick. That doesn't make him #1 that makes him smart. He knew G2 wouldn't amount to anything if he stayed playing Jett. Sick plays just as many agents and has a slightly better ACS and KD over the past 90 days. Sicks clutch percentage is also 25% over the past 90 days were Mixwells is 10%.
You’re not wrong, I was thinking on putting Sick in a higher rank tho. I’m putting Mixwell #1 because he can play any agent and still performs and I don’t think TenZ, Asuna, nukkye or any other would perform at the highest level if they’re out of their role. But take a look at the stats from the past 60 days, because in the past 90 days Mixwell was still playing duelist, there you will see that over the past 60 mix and Sick have pretty much the same ACS and K/D.
Gotcha, def a valid opinion. Your right I prolly should have done past 60 days since that covers after his role switch. Ill check em now. And most duelists prolly wouldn't perform, to they're current standards, outside the duelists role. That's why I kind of feel like Mixwell should have never played the primary duelist role, and as were finding out now, is way better as a strong support player.
I kind of miss mixwell’s Jett OP show but it’s actually better for the team having him fill their comp with a role they need and having him alive in midrounds and post-plants scenarios. His viper is also very good (I recommend you to see his performance against Fnatic on bind with Viper on the closed qualifiers for the main event). And I hope to see Tenz playing other role one day so that we can see how he does it.
I watched what I think was the first time Mixwell played viper where he absolutely carried. Not sure who it was against, think it was FNC since it was a bind game, but he had the best timings with his late lurks, great utility, and was winning all his duels. But I dont think Tenz or Asuna will ever play non duelist roles, and prolly shouldn't. Some duelist just cant play other roles, literally its who they are as a player/fits their playstyle. I haven't watched G2 that much, so I could be wrong, but I always felt that Mixwell was more of a passive duelist, which isn't bad. But like I said earlier he just always came across to me as a great support player, and I mean that in a good way. But def dont count on seeing Tenz play a non duelists. He only plays duelist but is able to still offer his team flexibility by being able to play 4 of the 5 duelist at a top level.
He got 32k that map, he really knows how to find timing and space. Plus his mid-round calls are really good. I think TenZ played sova in one or a few maps when he joined sentinels, but can't remember how he did it. And about Mixwell for me he was an agressive/passive duelist, depending on the situation he knew if he had to push or play passive. Yeah, I understand and agree the fact of him being support a better option for the team, and the G2 vs OXYGEN breeze map is the perfect example.
