For Sen it does, they are far ahead in the americas league with 8 points, they only need to farm a few more wins in Split 1 and in Split 2 and they are locked in for champs regardless of if they place top 3 in Split 2 or not. Even if they don't qualify for Shanghai they would get enough time to prepare for other teams in Split 2 and champs.
