If give regions smaller regions (like Japan and SEA) slots they will improve :3 I like the format riot has in league of legends in valorant where we get to see a variety of teams throughout the world instead of 1 or 2 regions like CS :3

They were added late probably. So it couldn't be integrated into VCT without stuff going wrong. So they just allowed them to have a spot in Asia LCQ.

And yes I know sea has two but I’m saying this cause people complain about smaller regions having slots

I mean at Berlin, it seems that riot are being generous w/ SEA and Japan as they are getting one less slot than NA each. I think that next year slots will be reorganized based on playerbase and viewership but all established regions will keep at least 1 slot. So it might be like South Asia 1 slot, Japan 1 slot, SEA 1 slots, Korea 2 slots and give some to CIS/MENA/TR w/ EU seperate

Including LCQ? then SEA can technically have 3 too. Also, Japan is only given 1 slot for league's worlds bruh

CIS = small region
Turkey = small region
3 slots for us and Europe all together while Asia bots get 5 and South America bots get 4

Thanks Rito for supporting small regions 👍

If you can't beat EU you couldn't beat KR and NA

The only reasonable move is to force CIS teams to go to Vladivostok and play in SEA.

But if we can't beat EU it doesn't mean we can't beat other piece of shit regions with free slots like Japan or Latin America.

Why are they allowed to send their teams to Masters and Champions but we aren't? That seems fair to you?

Bro, the only team who is good on CIS is Gambit (on the future NaVi), the other teams are worse than LATAM and JP teams

Gambit, Navi, SMB, OXG, FF are better than all japanese teams will ever be. If they get a slot we should too.

Oh wait you forgot what happened at Iceland? KRU got owned by Fnatic more than they owned Futbolist. Does that mean #2 TR team (back then) >>>> entire LATAM region? I'm not even talking about Gambit who gave Fnatic a much tougher fight than KRU.

Weren't you the one that shat all over the fact that these smaller regions gets a slot over teams such as CIS and TR back in Masters 2? Like, I agree with the comments above too, dude. If they can't defeat the other EU teams then, tough luck. Not to discredit their effort, but with how the slots are set up, they can't all be winners. Hoping that Riot can change the format to better suit the many sub-regions, though.

Also PLEASE don't forget about regional differences in terms of context before you shit on their international performance. EU/TR/CIS is different than LATAM, as the case for other regions.

I think even if we prove a though fight against Thailand or Japan they might give us one next year

You really can’t complain one slot less than way way better and more prestigious regions is not that much. I think riot does a good job in integrating smaller regions.
If you picked teams to make the most competitive tournament you would only bring in NA, EMEA, KR Teams tbh.

Honestly, I feel like all smaller regions that have a VTC are being well supported by Riot. Actually, maybe even too strongly if you compare that South America will have the same amount of spots as EMEA and some Asian regions, which didn't perform well in Iceland, have two spots
