Past Matches
This game has such energy that anything can happen. Gambit and g2 already won 4 rounds when g2 won both pistols in their match on the last map. They played a little badly in the gambit full buy rounds as well. They made mistakes he wouldn't normally make. I don't think gambit will make these mistakes again. Let's see what happens tomorrow. SMB ban Bind or Breeze
Gambit pick Ascent(SMB can win in ascent)
SMB pick Haven(SMB fav in haven, but gambit can win in haven)
Gambit pick Breeze(coin toss) or Bind(Gambit favorite in bind)
SMB pick Split(i think smb better in split)
Icebox remains(we didn't see smb's icebox in this tourney but i dont think gambit will pick icebox because they were defeated 2 times in this map)
my guess is 3-1 or 3-2 smb will win, but it is very important what the teams will do in the first 2 maps. if gambit wins first 2 maps, they will win match too.
In the 7 continent category which the majority of the world uses, they do put Turkey in part of Asia, where Turkey boarders the European continent. That isn't to say Turkey are Asians, it's just what they called the continent. Just like how the Australian continent contains a lot more countries than just Australia.
Actually curious because it changes where you live, if you type what are the continents into google, what comes up for you living in Turkey?
Edit: I think I might have misunderstood your comment, my apologies if so. If you meant that a small part of Turkey resides in Europe while the majority is in Asia, then yup I agree.
It would be weird if anyone did, as Riot doesn’t even consider them part of Europe, hence why it’s called EMEA and not just Europe.
It would be like an OCE team going through the NA LCQ, and being considered North American. OCE is OCE, Gambit is CIS, SMB is Turkey, and EU is G2 and Acend. I’d be surprised anyways if Riot keeps the regions as is going into next years VCT anyways.
GG. Amazing performance from Gambit. Split was the decider of this match. After SMB lost on Split, Gambit started taking control while gradually increasing their performance.
SMB, as a 40 days old team did a great job reaching Grand Final from upper bracket and slapping everyone on their way.

Redgar said in the post match Russian interview that they had a meme comp and meme strats vs SMB on haven and that haven is still their permaban because it has 3 sites and there are way too many set plays possible.
