Why do people always get pressed when US fans chant USA. Like in champs with a whole team of 5 players from the US, ppl were calling the EG fans cringe.

the difference is these are built off of rivalrys, kinda like college football which actually has chants. kinda hard to do that on an international level given americans don't know geography

it's just hilariously unoriginal, and something about americans makes it more cringe, maybe because of preconceived views as a football fan.
Don't get me wrong, i hate other chants which are just 1 word over and over, but in British football, where I make my standards for good crowds (in terms of atmosphere, not good behaviour lmfao) those are balanced with some pretty damn funny chants usually, or atleast whole songs
