Netero [#26]Penalty shootouts to close games are incredibly anticlimactic, one of the many flaws of football (Non handegg). The NFL is rigged, Eli Manning should not go in the hall of fame, lebum is boring to watch, and Allen Iverson 2001 was the biggest carry of a franchise in sports history.
Agreed on penalties, that’s y hockey is bouta get rid of them. 2 rings 2 sb mvps does deserve hof. U clearly didn’t watch 2012-2016 lebron. And sixers were a defense team, kinda crazy to say ai carried them.

for PKs, you gotta think about the player aswell. They have been playing the game for 2 hours with like a 20 minute break. that is very exhausting. PK's also add a suspense at the end, and is very much a skill-based way to find a winner.
IMO, even tho PK's are a bit anticlimactic, they are the best option.

I can only attest to three points, penalty shootout is so slow yet scintillating, you cannot look away from it. From a realistic perspective, injuries and fixture congestion is on the rise in the sport so Penalty shootout is actually preferable to playing more football on top of the ever increasing extra time. Lebron is NOT boring to watch but you are entitled to that and yeah its probably him.
Kiko [#20]KD top 5 nba player oat
In terms of skill and aesthetics its arguable. The important thing is if you hold his super teams against him especially if you are one of those morons that cries about "LeGM". I don't hold it against KD but he only won with great players around him, I just don't think he has the rings and to match his ability.

He’s probably not top 5. Top 5 scorers tho maybe
This is gonna be funny... but if Golden State didnt put Klay as a trade asset for Kevin Love (before the cavs buyout) during the 2014 off-season, we wouldve seen probably the best ball movement team in the NBA (Golden State shouldve put David Lee instead of Kevin Love, they had the exact amount of moolah in their contract at 14-15 mil)
Another one is that Golden State needs to destroy the "big 3" in Steph/Klay/Dray. Klay is inconsistent, Dray, as much as I love him as a person, as a player, he's very aggressive (in a bad way). To also include the CP3 and Wiggs. Idek wtf happened to Wiggs after the 2022 championship run, he looked out of proportion (and he's now on the bench! how far has he lost his value?). As far CP3 goes, i understand where the warriors were going with the Poole for CP3, but, the hype is dead. CP3 is old. To make the warriors a "future" title contender (yes, i said future. theyre 11th in the west conf. no point contending now), I believe Klay, Dray, CP3 and Wiggs need to go to different teams. Klay/Dray/Wiggs need a change of scenery and CP3 is better off as a trade asset.
(yes I am a massive warriors fan, and no, I did not get into the warriors hype when they won their 1st ring, I actually got into them during 2012-13. I was a Phoenix Suns (Dragic/Gortat/Scola era) fan before the warriors).

You know what, that's the best way to summarize it. On scoring ability easy top five, on overall merit not that high.

they need to develop Looney more, Looney is the most underrated GSW asset, with excellent offensive rebounding to all the 3s that klay and steph miss... Kuminga should stay too, he is amazing Iso PF, the oldies need to go except 2 to mentor the youngsters and trade them for some players chasing rings in their late 20s and in form. i would go for players like Gordon Hayward and Pascal Siakam
STEPH
HAYWARD
KUMINGA
PASCAL
LOONEY
is a solid defensive team that can ball rotate to get open 3s to Hayward, Steph and Siakam, combine this with a bench focused on Shooting Guards and Centers and you have a high scoring team with excellent post defense

The only problem I see with breaking up the big 3 is that the Warriors won't get back as much value in a trade for either klay or draymond as they can provide for the dubs.
cp3 has been surprisingly good this year especially when looking at poole on the wizards, and wiggins has been going on an upward swing. call it copium but i think they should hold on to one of them
one of the problems with the roster as currently constructed is that there are just too many guards for there to be enough minutes, especially when the team is fully healthy. they obviously start steph and klay, then first off the bench has been cp3 and gp2, but moody and podz have both proven themselves, but kerr likes to play joseph a lot as well. when you look at forwards it gets easier, but not by much

I think Looney has unfortunately hit his ceiling, a lot of injuries early into his career have lowered his physical ceiling. People forget he was getting KD comparisons in HS due to his mobility and athleticism at that time. he is a great rebounder and a great pnr partner but i dont think he needs to necessarily be developed. i think as it stands his role alongside TJD as a javale mcgee-type athletic big is working, just needs polishing

yes injuries, but he can still work on the 3pt (just let Kerr and Steph the 3pt GOATs help XD. but kerr would be too adamant to stick to the system instead of focusing on player developement like he did with Wiseman and Kuminga in previous years) & mid- game
this is sick btw!!! i didn't know kevon looney moved like that https://youtu.be/aCBD_c8eLjM?si=e9n0VuzUbo69nYiO
if and when he develops the 3point game, he will be an Al Horford replica in a way, he is only 26 lets hope he plays as long as Al

if they keep cp3 it should only be to mentor the youngsters and in that case, they should not trade the young players (kuminga, podz, tracie etc.) and trade klay and dray for a big piece (all star like Lauri Markannen)

To me, trading klay/dray still has value for assets like Hachimura, (maybe Markannen, though looking at Utah in standings, its a hit or miss if they will trade away markannen atp), i agree with wiggs, he has shown an upward swing since last season, but its not gonna grow in SanFran anytime soon. CP3 is currently injured so maybe he can stay as veteran support for the younger guys.
If the Warriors wants to run with their usual playstyle of extremely small small-ball, then the young players that they have need to change positions, (Podz as a SG, Moody as a SF, Kuminga stays as a PF and TJD stays a center. at least there they wont have to fight for minutes whilst the Warriors try to trade away Klay and Dray for assets that have a slight upward swing in performance).
