Sometimes going out of your comfort zone is better than staying in. G2 won't stay in the GC ecosystem forever, same with the rest of the GC teams. At some point, these intergender matches will happen more oftrn, and it'll be a pathway to slowly balance the skill gap.

There's always something to learn no matter how badly you win or lose, but especially when you lose and you played badly.

Not always and only to a certain extent. Most people don't learn anything when they are completely obliterated. It's like saying a new player learns something when they play against a Radiant, it just becomes a show of force and too overwhelming for the inexperienced. The difference in strength cannot be too great (at least in my experience).

Sure, playing against t1 teams at this point is maybe going to be too difficult but at the same time, playing at that pace can drastically affect how you approach the game. Tbh, it's really less of a mechanical thing than it is a strategic thing.

How exactly? Theres only ascension and some very rare tier 2 tourneys,its gonna be very hard in Any near future for gc to challenge even tier 3 teams

Yes, of course, I was just exaggerating to make a point. And you're right, in hindsight you can maybe figure out what mistakes you made, but what I meant is that in the moment it's hard not to get emotional and keep a good attitude that allows you to learn things. I agree with you that because they have a coaching staff, maybe they can benefit from this.

I agree that there's probably not much to be taken from this TH game. But I think they benefit a lot more from that Fokus game, they eventually crumbled but in the first 8 or so rounds they were putting up a decent fight so there's a lot more to analyse and learn from.
