They are still official matches where they compete, they get paid a shit load of money a month to be in that tier. If you were to put a franchised team to play in these "mickey mouse tournaments" they would absolutely sweep everyone with their disciplined playbooks and adaptability. Also, since when was challengers qualifier a mickey mouse tournament, when literally Sentinels, Shopify rebellion, FaZe, TSM etc. were in there playing for a chance in the official VCT circuits

Should that mean that they are hypothetically better than the teams you are implying would be able do stand in the mid-table of franchising leagues, so you are basically implying that an immortal 5 stack would do well amongst the best orgs? This just proves my point that the talent pool in individuals inst the same size. I'm sure that meL, sarahcat, Flor, Bob are all awesome players but the fact that there are so mane cis male players that are on the same level if not better. So, what makes them so special to have a granted slot in the franchising league?
