Anything I know about Shazam is that he was a dogshit cs go player, is he any good in valorant?
Yes. 2021 he was one of the best val players in the world, second highest rating at iceland for SEN while IGLing. For a long time, he was IGLing and fragging out on jett at the same time.
2022 was rough because SEN had problems with zombs being dogshit bad and with sick's health and couldn't practice, and the org did bad supporting the team (didn't get a headcoach and ended up with rawkass, got shroud for lcq...)
2023 he played well with G2, second highest rated player on the team while IGLing. They finished second in split 1, beating the guard. The team shat the bed in the second half, with penny and wippie looking like bots from the range for the whole second half season.
I think he deserves a fair shout in tier 1 especially now that there's a 6th NA team and orgs are budgeting.
Even though ShahZ was a dogshit CSGO player, he was still the second best NA AWPer behind Skadoodle.
Let him roam free with an AWP and he shits on any T2, inferior team. Once he was up against a T1 or international team, the holes in his game became more exposed.
His forte has always been AWPing, but if he wants to play support in Valorant, it will be much harder for him to succeed.
